While Villarreal remained in a three-game losing streak in La Liga, the Yellow Submarine snatched a precious overtime victory over Celta de Vigo (0-1) on Saturday in Galicia.
The training led by André-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Santi Cazorla dominated the game without ever finding the fault. The duo Gerard Moreno-Paco Alcacer did not make the difference, just like a Carlos Bacca entered at the hour of the game. The Colombian striker however stumbled on the excellent opposing doorman, Ruben Blanco, and Manuel Trigueros followed well to register the goal of the victory (91st).
The Valencia community club is 8th in La Liga standings, 4 points behind Atlético, 6th, while Celta remains 17th, with just one point more than Mallorca, the first relegation.
