The end of the Champions League fixed!

The 2019-2020 Champions League will conclude well in August with a “Final 8” to be held in Lisbon.

It’s Wednesday noon during a videoconference that the UEFA executive committee will decide on the format used to end the season. Champions League in the month of August. The Gazzetta dello sport ensures that the European competition will continue with a “Final 8” in the same city. It will not be in Istanbul but in Lisbon!

After the last 4 8th finals back to the program (Juventus-OL, Man City-real Madrid, Bayern-Chelsea and Barça–Napoli), the Portuguese capital will host the quarter-finals, the last four and the decisive match, which will therefore be played in one game. The Italian media does not specify if all the meetings will be scheduled at the Estadio da Luz, the lair of Benfica.

Regarding the Europa League, 4 German cities (Düsseldorf, Gelsenkirchen, Duisburg and Cologne) will host the rest of the knockout stages and then the “Final 8”. The first leg of Inter-Getafe and Sevilla-Roma could not be played and these two confrontations will be played in a single match. See you in early August!
