PSG presented their third kit for the 2020-21 season on Tuesday, the result of a new collaboration with Jordan Brand.
We know almost everything PSG 2020-21. While the final hours of the transfer window allowed Leonardo to refine the Parisian squad, with three new recruits – Moise kean, Danilo Pereira and Rafinha -, the capital club has indeed unveiled its third jersey.
And if the first two outfits unveiled this summer paid tribute to iconic PSG outfits, this third jersey clearly recalls the colors of the Qatar flag. However, the burgundy hue would be a reference to the color of the pair of Air Jordan VII shoes worn by Michael Jordan during the All-Star Game in 1992.
Because this third jersey has again been designed in collaboration with the brand Jordan Brand and famous “The lifestyle culture of Parisian football”, according to a statement released by the club. It is also reminiscent of the 2006/07 season away jersey with white sleeves on the shoulders and black on the edges and a black V-neck.
Jordan and sponsor logos are gold, player numbers and names are white, while shorts and socks are burgundy with gold accents.
