PSG is trying a new blow!

Still looking for a midfielder to strengthen their midfield, PSG will continue to look in the direction of Chelsea.

Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Thiago Silva or Ben Childwell: Chelsea have done very well since the start of the summer transfer window, not hesitating to spend a few million euros to reinforce an already bloated squad. And with eight days of the close of the transfer market, the Blues are not ruling out attracting a final reinforcement but are thinking primarily of downsizing their group. A situation that seems to want to take advantage of PSG.

Tuchel’s huge rant

Determined to finally make up for the many departures that marked the Parisian summer, the club from the capital does not stop eyeing the side of Chelsea. We knew the champions of France were keenly interested in Tiémoué Bakayoko, which has appeared for a few days as the priority for recruiting Red and Blue in midfield, but also by Antonio Rüdiger, cited to replace Thiago silva. But according to Téléfoot, PSG would also have views on Jorginho.

Arsenal is on the spot

The track leading to the former Neapolitan nevertheless appears particularly complicated. In the first place because unlike the French midfielder and the German center-back, the Brazilian is part of Frank Lampard’s plans. He has also played in London’s first three games since the start of the Premier League season.

While the need for the money might prompt Chelsea officials to sacrifice one of their titular players, it is not clear that they will only lend the Imbutaba native. As with Tiémoué Bakayoko and Antonio Rüdiger, PSG hope to obtain a loan from Jorginho, admittedly with a purchase option. And that solution risks making the Blues even more ticking that Arsenal would be willing to sign a big check to lure the Italy international.
