Pléa sees red, Mönchengladbach beaten

The opening match of Bundesliga’s 30th day came as a surprise.

The Borussia Mönchengladbach, vying for a qualification in the Champions League next season, bit the dust at the start of the 30th day of the Bundesliga. The team led by Marco Rose, who had the opportunity to settle on the third step of the podium, bowed to Freiburg (1-0), on a goal of Nils Petersen shortly before play time (58th).

Marcus Thuram, author of 4 goals in the 4 games disputed since the exit from the health crisis, therefore did not succeed in continuing. His compatriot and attacking partner, Alassane Pléa, he didn’t finish the match, excluded by the referees for two yellow cards (22nd and 68th).
