OM on a former Barça player?

So the Spanish media Transfer20 understands that Pep Segura is part of the short-list established by “JHE”. This 59-year-old Catalan is a former leader of the FC Barcelona, like Andoni Zubizarreta, but his profile is very different from that of the former goalkeeper who left OM on May 14. A sports teacher by training, Pep Segura is a real trainer, who instead worked in a youth team and became director of the Liverpool training center and Barça.

After starting at Masia as a coach, Pep Segura assisted Lorenzo Serra Ferrer in Greece and even directed Olympiakos in 2008. He then found himself at the head of the Liverpool Academy at the request of Rafael Benitez (2009–2012), before holding the same position at Barça (2015-2017), then being promoted to general manager of the Catalan club until 2019. Despite this CV, his profile does not match that of of the expert leader in player trading…
