After his recently failed move to Leeds United, Michael Cuisance is leaving FC Bayern for France. The 21-year-old midfielder completed the medical check-up at Olympique Marseille on Monday. The Munich team agreed on a loan deal with the French first division soccer club.
Last week, Cuisance fell through the medical check at Premier League promoted Leeds, and the planned move failed. A transfer fee of around 20 million euros was discussed. Initially, nothing was known about the exact modalities of the intended deal with Marseille.
Hertha brings Guendouzi and Alderete
Hertha BSC upgraded their squad again shortly before the transfer window closed. The Berliners announced on Monday the change of midfielder Matteo Guendouzi and defender Omar Alderete to the Spree.
The Frenchman Guendouzi is on loan from Arsenal for one year, the 21-year-old can play in central and defensive midfield. Central defender Alderete (23) comes from FC Basel, while the Paraguayan national player signed “a multi-year contract” with Hertha.
“With Matteo Guendouzi we have a player who, despite his young age, with his experience of almost 60 Premier League games, makes our midfield even more flexible,” said Managing Director Michael Preetz. Alderete is “an intelligent player with a good development game, he will also strengthen our defense with his robustness.”
Defender Karim Rekik (25) leaves Berlin meanwhile, the Dutchman moves to Europa League winners FC Sevilla.
Third Bayern transfer fixed: Right-back Sarr comes from Marseille
FC Bayern have signed right-back Bouna Sarr from Olympique Marseille, making another new signing perfect shortly before the end of the transfer. As the German record champions announced on Monday, the 28-year-old received a four-year contract in Munich until 2024. “For me, a dream comes true,” the Frenchman was quoted in the club announcement.

Sarr is supposed to solve the bottleneck in the right-back position, on which world champion Benjamin Pavard is currently heavily burdened. A sum of ten million euros was speculated as a transfer fee; Bayern made no information about the transfer modalities.
Schalke 04 brings Ludewig
Schalke 04 has loaned junior international Kilian Ludewig. The 20-year-old was last loaned to FC Barnsley from RB Salzburg. Ludewig knows the new Schalke coach Manuel Baum from his time as a junior coach at the DFB. “I know Kilian very well and I am sure that he will help us immediately,” said Baum: “Kilian has everything a right-back in the Bundesliga needs.” Ludewig stated that he was “happy to be able to work with him again now.”
National player Sebastian Rudy recently helped out in Ludewig’s position. The Schalke team awarded the midfielder to league rivals 1899 Hoffenheim again on Monday.
Kluivert move to Leipzig perfect

VfB Stuttgart signed another talent shortly before the end of the transfer period. The 18-year-old Frenchman Naouirou Ahamada is on loan from Juventus Turin to VfB, as the Bundesliga club announced on Monday. Perfect return: Bayern brings Douglas Costa from Turin
The Brazilian Douglas Costa returns to Bayern. The winger, who played for the German record champions from 2015 to 2017, is on loan from Juventus Turin this season. Hoffenheim brings Rudy back
TSG 1899 Hoffenheim has loaned its record player Sebastian Rudy from league rivals FC Schalke 04 just like in the previous season.
