A week after their derby lost to Milan (1-2), Inter revived at Genoa (0-2) on Saturday in Matchday 5 of Serie A.
Antonio Conte’s men only found the loophole in the second half thanks to the inevitable Romelu Lukaku. Launched in the box by Nicolo Barella, the Belgian striker opened the scoring (64th) and now has 10 goals in 9 matches this season, including his 3 goals in the selection during the last international window as well as his double Wednesday in the Ligue des champions against Mönchengladbach (2-2).
Danilo D’Ambrosio then scored the goal of the break, following a corner (79th), to avoid a stressful end to the match for the Lombard team, which has moved up to 3rd place in the standings. The Genoa is 15th.
